My square had been similarly converted, with similar results: messy-looking 
engine compartment, apparent "boiling" in the lines, little vapor-lock 
hiccups, etc.  With help from a listee, Bob, with a '65 notch I believe - he 
was  nice enough to send me some pics - and thanks again, if you're still on 
the list - I was able to re-route a cross-flow line for fuel, plus the 
all-important vacuum equalizer between my Webers.  That, and mounting the 
electric fuel pump someplace cool (NOT on the firewall directly above the 
crankcase), seemed to clear up my problems.

I'll happily snap some pics, if you need 'em.

NOW, where to find those low-rise air cleaner elements?  I've located whole 
air cleaner assy's, for about $30/per - but heck, all I want is a $3 paper 
filter, 7 1/2" dia. x 1 1/2" tall.  Can these be ordered from anywhere?
