Hi All,
Have a question for you. The voltage regulator in my 65 Notch(1600cc,
dual carbs, MT, 12V ) is making a clicking/buzzing sound at idle. It just
started doing this, and I can put my hand on it and feel the vibrations as
it's doing this. It happens with the headlights & windshield wipers off and
radio off or on. I'm running back and forth to classes at the college, so I
have not yet had a chance to check how many volts it's putting out- (not too
worried about it thus far , as I don't have FI to worry about being
affected). It causes a bit of interference on some of the FM radio stations.
So, my question is, does this mean the voltage regulator is getting ready to
quit?
