I replaced my turn signal/emergency flasher relay with a new one (NOS) because my dash lights were very dim. I was very careful to follow the wiring diagram *and* replace just one connector at a time. The interior gauge lights and the exterior lights all work correctly, except the relay now "clicks" whenever I depress the brake pedal. When I disconnect the black wire from the relay, the clicking stops, but (of course) I no longer have turn signals. I noticed on the wiring diagram that the relay and the brake light switch (at the master cylinder) share a connector at the fuse panel; I assume this is relevant. How can I diagnose this problem...?
