Guys,
Greetings from New Zealand. All that talk of San Diego, has got
me misty eyed. I used to spend a lot of time there in the 80s on vacation.
Had a good (sadly late) buddy who lived in Seven Hill/s, not too far from
Balboa Park and the Zoo.
He was an engineer who worked for National Steel shipyards, so we used to
also spend a bit of time around that area at the water front at a real cool
mexican resturant, by the name of Chewy's (correct spelling?). Bit of a San
Diego icon.
Anyway I can just imagine cruising around the sunny streets in a classic
VW. Most excellent.
