I cut the rear shelf out yesterday (It was rusted out BAD!) and have decided to leave it out. I like the way it looks! I plan on using 4 bucket seats w/ a center console running the entire length of the car. Anyway, Has anyone changed their popouts to stationary windows? Does it seal okay w/ the cal-look rubbers? The rear corners of my popout on the passenger side is way gone and I have to do some metal repair. That foam junk did a number on it! Did we ever decide what was best to get that stuff gone? I'll post some more progress pics this weekend. At least I'm making it lighter (WEIGHT wise......don't jump for joy just yet Keith!) Decided to keep the carbs under the stock engine cover (now you can jump, Keith!) instead of using the tall manifolds and cleaners. I think it's going to look pretty slick being able to look in the rear window and see the rear trunk. One thing i have to engineer is gas struts for the rear trunk lid....the hinge guides are now history. Shouldn't be that big of a deal though. more as it happens!
