I used alluminum air hoses because they do run pretty close to the pipes, but before i stripped the top end off of the motor to repair a bad spark plug, it all worked properly and blew warm air through the heater ducts. I plan on leaving it this way. Contrary to popular belief, it DOES get cold in New Mexico in winter.
