Durng my wiring troubleshooting I had Fig 10.1 from the Bentley Fuel System section (p. 17) open in front of me. This is the FI wiring diagram for '68 and '69 cars. My car is an early '69 (9/68 I think). The diagram shows the multi-pin connector for the ECU with slot #14 empty. The Muir manual also mentions something about this slot being empty for all FI cars without the EGR valve relay, which came in '73. But my harness has a wire #14 going into that pin. Does this mean somebody once changed out my harness? I don't have any extra wiring back there for, say, a EGR relay. I also noticed on Fig 10.1 a wire labeled #14 on the pressure switch. ??? Is the pressure switch wire #14 a misprint or is there something that I am not understanding?
