How reliable is the manual, Jim? The Parts Book model numbering page gives August 1965 as the date from which the Fastback took over the 311 to 314 model designation from the Notch, which then became 315 to 318. There doesn't seem to be any mention of the Fastback under a different model number. Obviously they will have produced a number earlier than that for evaluation purposes, I suppose. Dave.
