This would verify that you are maintaining conductivity from the distributor trigger point connection on the distributor to the ECU. If you have a pulse going in to the ECU and no pulse coming out going to the injectors, then I guess you can assume the ECU is bad. (2 bad ECU's in a row? Strange!)
