I have a couple of almost perfect dash pads. Each has at least one small crack that has not yet started to pull apart. Any suggestions for how to keep them from spreading? Also I have a dash with a larger crack that I want to fill and fix. I'm thinking of a procedure something like this: Cut a clean, unraised area out of the chasm so that what remains is flat. Fill the crack with expanding foam then to match the contour of the dash. Now what I want to do is with putty or something take an impression of the grain of the dash. Then I want to put some sort of material over my repair that I can press this impression into. Allow to dry, vinyl paint, and the dash should look as good as new. After all is said and done now, what sort of product should I use to protect my dash? Thanks, Andre ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
