Now I know why the hangers on dual quiet Bugpack mufflers are for ; that is to prevent losing the mufller and leaving debris for other driver to hit. Yeah , this morning my mother was complaining that the car was making more noise than usual and there was a metalic sound. Unfortunately I had my mom filter on and did not take any action until I dropped my mom at work she told me that the passenger muffler was dragging. Doooohhhh!!!! well it was hanging by the hanger and the pipe was broken off, clean off. I had to unbolt the hanger bracket and put the muffler in the trunk. This afternoon I will get it welded and weld a top bracket between the two mufflers to prevent one side from breaking off, this way both have to break off before dragging on the highway. I have air pumped shocks to make my car ride higher for the roads I go to. I jacked the car up after I reinforced welded the muffler system The pipes are so thin and brittle that vibration will easily crack after really using the car like I do. Bugpack and other brands really suck in this aspect. My muffler system is fairly new and is only about four months old since install. I guess these mufflers are only meant for cars that are driven a little and are always inside from the weather. Does anyone know of a quiet bullet proof muffler system that can be attached to a header? If not I will make my own quiet dual pack center pipes.
