Simon, it sure is nice to have someone on this list who knows about all the 'other' Type 3s out there! That engine doesn't look stock to me, or at least the air cleaners don't look stock -- I know we had this argument many moons ago, but did VW paint the cooling tin the same color as the body (I want to say no, at least not for the light colored ones)? The shifter and fire extinguisher certainly aren't! I can't tell about the e-brake...
