Dave Hall or Per Lindgren or anyone out there, I have a 1971 edition of the Henry Elfrink workshop manual for the Type 3. It refers to the Type 3 Panel Van as the "Type 36 M-265 or M-296". I know what M-265 is - "welded-in side window panels, centre and rear". However, I have not been able to find "M-296" in the five different M-Options lists that I have for Type 3 vehicles, including the M-Options list on vwtype3.org. Might this be the full length panels along the side from the door to the rear tailgate which were aparently marketed by VW in Denmark and elsewhere? Does anyone know what M-296 was? Regards, Simon Glen Toowoomba, Australia. ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org
