FIX it NOW!! your seeing unburnt fuel and that thing can go off like a bomb! The problem is too low of a B+ voltage... the stock harness was inadequate really... run a nice 10 or 12 gauge 12V line up to it directly from the battery (fused of course) and your problems will go away. the glow plugs just dont ignite things well with low voltage.
