How much taller are they than the standard late type 3 pad? Does anyone know the diameter of the pistons in these? The standard calipers have 42mm pistons, so keeping the brakes balanced would take pistons of 1/2 the area, which comes out to 29.7mm. So these may well be the same as the little 914 rears, which I think were 30mm, but I may be remembering wrong. Could be 32 or 33mm.
