Re: [T3] NC Appraiser needed

<x-flowed>I cant help with the appraiser, but I had a problem like this over the
summer.
We had an 86 Jetta ( 3 friggin weeks) and I did all this work on it. It was
supposed to be our Auto-x car. Anyway, their guy runs a red light and wipes
me out. Bent frame, axle and just a mess.

Their appraiser comes and totalls the car. He didnt even do it right, no
listing of parts or anything.

Anyway, their offer sucked royal butt. I had 3 choices. Take their crap
offer $500, Play the injury claim (but wasnt really hurt and couldnt do that
unless I HAD to), Or Threaten and take them to Small claims court.

I fought with their insurance guy, and finally went in for a meeting.
I showed them the Papers filled out from small claims court, $3500.
They caved so fast and gave me the $1500 I was looking for from the
beginning.

So maybe that might work for you.
Good Luck!
