I'm sorry, I might have been a bit confusing in my e-mail about Zambian 1500E Type3s. I should have said the '64 and '65 1500E notchbacks (or Type31) in Zambia had: Volkswagen 1500 E on the engine lid or rear boot and the 'E' was on the chromed number plate light cowl, while the 1500E Variants or (Type36) in Zambia had: Volkswagen Variant E on the rear door or hatch just as shown in David Orozco's picture.
