I would not agree that only Canada got the 'E' cars. VW 1500 Variant 'E' cars were sold in Zambia in 1965. They were the single carburettor alternative to the twin-carburettor 'S' with all the de luxe trimmings of the 'S' as well. And, they were right hand drive cars, too. And, being a 'tropical' specification, they did not have an Eberspaecher petrol burning heater.
