The AT is quite durable, but the AC is a definite negative. Unless you really think you HAVE to have it, I'd get rid of it. It is NOT a factory item, it was added by the dealer (or later.) It adds an extra heat load on the engine and requires that you mangle the cooling air intake ductwork for the compressor belt.
