WHERE does it leak, and under what conditions?

The hose from the reservoir goes to the connection farthest from 
the knob and there should be a second small sleeve of rubber 
tubing around the end of the hose where it pushes over the nipple. 
That little sleeve is important to get enough pressure to keep the 
hose sealed.

I just buy hose at the hardware store that looks as close as they 
have to the original. IIRC, it has a somewhat smaller ID than the 
original.
