As someone else pointed out, you have to be sure that you have a correct set of 73 FI parts. A random set is likely to give you random results. If the car is actually running rich, the injectors would be the LAST thing I would suspect. Make sure the pressure sensor hose is connected on BOTH ENDS. Check the fuel pressure while the engine is failing (won't rev any higher.) It should still be 30 psi. Check the charging system output voltage. It should be above 13.5V at 2000 RPM. It may help to get a charger on the battery, even while running the engine. Check dwell, timing, cylinder compression. Keep us posted. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
