<x-charset iso-8859-1>A few tips getting bleed nipples (screws) out. 1) Use a hexagonal socket or ring rather than a 12-point ring to save chewing the corners, with quite a short ratchet (or hold it near the ratchet head). 2) Clean the area around the screw with a brass brush to clean the corrosion off. 3) Apply a little easing fluid (make sure it doesn't get drawn inside as you remove the screw). 4) Tighten the screw a fraction first (only the slightest movement) to break the seal/corrosion. 5) Then try it the right way and hope. 6) If it seems very resistant, try a little more easing fluid and give it a few hours to work.
