Hi Herman, How about coming to our club AGM meeting. It's at the REME Museum of Technology (at Arborfield near Reading on Sunday 30th September). The late Major Hirst was the REME Officer who did much to save Wolfsburg and restart production at the end of the war. We hope to see some of the archives from the time which are held at the REME Museum. There is a possibility we may also be able to meet with one of his team (R.E.M.E. is the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers). You would be most welcome to join us. www.rememuseum.org.uk gives a map and some details of what's there. I'll e-mail an invite sheet separately. Dave.
