Grab the mirror firmly in hand & pull towards you with an upwards motion. I grab from the back of the mirror ( palm of hand facing me) wrap my fingers around the top of the mirror with my thumb around the bottom & give it a firm pull. There is a V shaped clip that holds the mirror in place through a hole in the roof.
