The hatch is adjusted flush with the body, that was one of the first thing that came to mind. I should've known the repro stuff would be worse than my tattered OEM seal. To be fair, it was letting in some exhaust and had a small drip during downpours. But this is so bad I don't want my kids in the car now. I'm still hoping for some advice on making this repro seal work. It's only $20 bucks, and I can easily get another and try again w/ the proper technique. On the other hand, I guess I'd appreciate a lead on NOS too. I've got an Axel $tueber catalog around here somewhere...
