I have question on the E-code 7 inch headlamps. , this is to convert my sealed beams to the H-4 based bulb system with E-code lenses. I have been looking for these fo a while since I drive to lots of places during no light hours. I need better lighting than what I have (AMERICAN DOT), these were my findings: IPF AMERICAN MADE 31.00 EA OR 62.00/PAIR CIBIE FRENCH MADE ? 56.00 EACH NEOLITE MADE IN INDIA 20.00 EACH AUTOPAL MADE IN INDIA 30.00 BOSCH GERMAN MADE 89 BUCKS HELLA GERMAN MADE 36.00 BUCKS LIGHT GLOW (PLASTIC) MADE IN TAIWAN 20.00 EA ACA AMERICAN BRAND BUT MADE IN TAIWAN 31.00 EACH -WAGNER OF BRAZIL 24.00 BUCKS, VERY HIGH QUALITY BUT CAN'T FIND VENDOR, these I really wanted , looked like cut crystal. -SOME POLISH BRAND THAT IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE (WAS VERY GOOD QUALITY) AT JC WHITNEY FOR THEIR LEADED CRYSTAL E-CODE LAMPS, NEW POLISH BRAND TOOK OVER PREVIOUS COMPANY AND STARTED PUTTING OUT JUNK (LOWER QUALITY) My question is : what can you guys say about each one of these? I had people complain about Hella quality . I heard raves about American made IPF as better than anything out there and also I heard that the Indian made headlamps were of Hella and Bosch quality or better. Cibie was the best hands down...You guys all over the world, tell me your experience on the lights. I am looking for the best not just the ones that are the "correct" brand for my car. These inputs should help us all on the best quality lighting. I think I research too much on everything and get confused when too much data is presented. Also does the city lights really interfer greatly with the beam pattern ? That is what I heard, it but from a seller of non-city lite featured conversion item. Please answer, I am ready to purchase the IPF ones, but the raves were from the sellers. Good quality Indian ones look good also and way cheaper.
