Re: [T3] gas in oil

So you saw the oil measure all the way up ? Way above normal ?
You sure it was gasoline comming out of the actual exhaust pipe ?

I saw something like this from a detroit monster that had carbs and
electric fuel pump, gas was going out the exhaust and the engine
filled up with gas. The float was stuck open and I was working on my
ignition , while the pump kept pumping. When I cranked the engine
fuel was forced out through the exhaust from the gas filled pistons .
Also during cranking it was harder to turn cause gas is harder to compress
than air and was forced down the crankcase via my rings.

You have an EFI system on your car. The only way your car can
get that much fuel in the engine is through the injectors. If your starter
injector is stuck open all of the time this will do it. For this injector
you
can turn the ignition on and hear your pump pressurize your system
take your air cleaner out, open your throttle and see if a spray mist
is countinuously sprayin in there , that would be your starter injector
stuck open
or is always activated by miswiring. The hot side (+)should be hooked up
to the starter solenoid and should ONLY activate when you are cranking
engine.
the other side is connected to the thermal time switch that only activates
the ground (-) when cold.

To check out the other injectors, get a 10mm little socket and little 1/4
inch
rachet and remove an injector pair with cnnections and fuel lines connected.
Place pair assembly in jar or coffee can and turn ignition on (do not
crank and disconnect coil) , are they constantly spraying ? Do the other
pair . If you wish to simulate the engine actually turning , remove the
distributor and turn the bottom shaft whlie the injector connection is
plugged into the distributor (again, make sure power is disconnected
from the coil), while doing this you should see the injectors spraying on
and off,
also you can pump your throttle to see the injectors spray on and off.
this will not simulate engine turning but the enrichment circuit will
activate the injectors the same way. This proceedure will verify for you
what is going on with the fuel exits on your engine. No injector should
inject constantly except the starter injector when cranking only during cold
days.

I think the problem may be something miswired like injectors always on
or on injector stuck way open and pouring in , sand stuck inside.

Your engine should have not gotten damaged by this problem, fix your cause
and replace your oil, do not crank your engine before correcting the
problem,
you do not want a big bonfire.
