Ok, disconnecting the cold start valve/pinching off the fuel line to it, did nothing. I am definitely getting fuel into the crankcase, as the oil level rises just a bit after driving the car. The oil also smells of gas and is "thin". Car runs good, no smoke but is using gas like a top fuel dragster!. I looked at one of my "spare" pressure sensors and noticed that it has a ground lug mounted to one of the rivets that holds it together. The sensor on the car has no such lug and further the sensor is held together by screws instead of rivets.......... Again my car is a 72... Could the temp sensor II be causing this high fuel consumption? Any way to test these temp sensors with an Ohm meter? What's the resistance range between good and bad? ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much? Digest! mailto:type3-d-request@vwtype3.org Subj=subscribe
