[T3] After market exhaust effecting low end performance

I have a 70 Auto FI Squareback.
I recently changed the exhaust system from the stock setup to a 4 tip empi
aftermarket exhaust. I find that I do get much better high end power on the
hwy yet I seem to have a low end vibration that I did not have before. Just
as the car comes under load and when you cruise at about 55-60 and you need
only to apply a small bit of power to keep up the speed. I have asked a
couple of you if the exhaust would be causing this vibration and most have
said that it would not, yet by changing the entire dynamic of the exhaust
system it must have some effect. Back pressure etc would change.

Does anyone else have some feedback on this?
