Re: [T3] Steering box

=> Might they have been damaged - how can I tell ?

If the boots and threads are in good shape and the joint moves smoothly,
you're fine.

=> Are you sure about using the old clamp with the
=> new box, have you done this?

Yes, just a couple weeks ago, as a matter of fact.

=> Also, I noticed the old steering arm is a 341 part,
=> has a bend in it and is slightly longer, should I move
=> it over to the new box ?

I've had no trouble without doing this -- I don't know now whether my
original steering box had this part. The T34 also had a special tie rod on
the left that probably matched this geometry. I have regular T3 ends on
mine and no problems that I can detect with steering.
