Hello, all: My continuing inability to cover my debts, coupled with my wife's and my recent decision to move to New York City, leads me to the inevitable (though horrible) conclusion: I am going to have to give up my dreams of restoring our '67 Squareback, Yoko. I thought I would mention it here first, before actively trying to sell the car, because you guys are the greatest...and I know any one of you would give it a fine home. Stats: '67 Square, Granada Red. Dual carbs, 6V flywheel, DP1600 engine. Runs but definitely needs a rebuild. Patchy rust here and there, but nothing structural or serious. One hole in floorboard, under passenger side seat. Car has remarkably nice interior considering it's had little restoration over the years; also has both U.S. and European specs (four-way flashers, Hella foglights and backup lights, amber/red rear turn signals). This car is in Wichita, Kansas, and will need to be towed/hauled wherever it goes from here. There is no title, but one can be easily obtained in any state through a company like Titles Unlimited in Alabama. My wife and I dearly love this car, but the time has come to face reality, and I must get over it and let it go. If any listees know of anyone looking for a very solid project car, this would be a great place to start. To see pix, follow the link in my signature line. My heart's a-breakin'.
