	Hmmm, I thought the *looks* of the car were complimented.  (It
does look pretty clean, in my opinion.)

	Standing off the deck lid to bring in cooler air would require
that the area at the base of the windshield be a high-pressure area, and,
if so, would require that the car be moving for greatest effect.

	I seem to recall that Gene Berg wrote that for a Beetle, propping
open the deck lid at the *bottom* resulted in slightly better cooling.
Hmmm, I've only ever seen magazine ads with deck lid stand-offs for the
*top* of a Beetle deck lid...!  I suspect that these issues are not simple
matters.

	Even if standoffs as described would help, that doesn't appear to
have been done for this engine...
