[T3] Shorter axles??

I saw somebody posted a question about shorter axles but no one responded? 
So here it is again. I am wanting to run 205/50/15's out back and that would 
require shorter axles right? Besides the putting the shorter axles in what 
else is required? Does a new bracket have to be fabricated for the torsion 
bars and what not? Anyone have any suggestions?
