If everything was fine one day and now it isn't I'd look at the fuel pump
first.  This happened recently to a friend of mine and thanks to advice from
Jim Adney I figured out that the fuel pump relay just quit working.  Listen
for the pump when you turn the key.

Or maybe you're out of gas!
