Try a bit of WD40, and rock the casing clockwise and anticlockwise to see if the pendulum will start. (Yes, I know others say it's not a lubricant, but it got my clock working, and it's still OK after 7 years). If it doesn't keep going, the problem is probably damaged coils, or worn out gearing. Working with the incredibly fine wire will defeat all but micro-surgeons! There are only three electronic components, and there's a good chance they are fine. There also seems no easy way of getting to them without being destructive to the mechanism frame. Dave.
