This part is hard to disassemble. You have to remove the 2 screws
that hold the butterfly valve to the shaft (they are peened over) and
then pull the shaft out the left side. I think dual return springs are
not the solution; you probably have wear in the throat that the
butterfly catches on. The late replacement throttle valve switches
have a stop built into them so the switch might just be adjusted
wrong. It might help to make sure the problem persists even with
the switch removed.
