There are several home lifts advertised in any one of my Street Rodder magazines. I also did a quick search using lycos.com and came up with at least a dozen US manufacturers of automotive lifts. One of them would even let you download AutoCAD crawings of their products. Here are just a few to try: http://www.autolifters.com http://www.mohawklifts.com http://www.challengerlifts.com http://www.auto-lift.com I don't know what your definition of cheap is. Most of the ones I saw were in the $1300 - $2000 range. All of these were 6000-7000 lb capacity however. If anyone does a more extensive search and finds one that would be cheaper at say 3500-4000 lb capacity, let the List know. There used to be one advertised in HVW awhile ago to. I think they even did an article on it. Don't remember the specifics, but it was a scissor jack type that let you tilt the car forward or backward to get extra height. Sound familiar to anyone? Hmmmmm....might be a fun project to engineer one day.....if I only had the time.
