My 69 AT FI square gets ~22mpg in town and 28 on the highway.
What do you get?
If it is too rich there is no single cure. You have to check several
things and fix the problem(s). Before you get yourself too
concerned about running too rich make sure that that is really the
case. Is there some reason that makes you believe it runs rich?
