RE: [T3] Groove on cam gear


That's what I had done in my engine.  Yes, when scavenging for hp where ever
you can get it this is a modification that will give you a little more.
However, the hp gain will only be realized at higher rpm.  Using a straight
cut gear will also give a smidgen more hp too, but you will gain more engine
noise.
