I have a set of 914 push rod tubes, but I'm not sure whether they are 
the early or late ones. In general I discovered that the type 4 PR 
tubes are very HD compared to ours, and generally don't need to be 
changed. In fact I long ago started just changing the outer seals 
because those are the ones that get hot enough to die. The tubes and 
inner seals can be reused many times.

I have tubes and seals for sale if anyone needs them. [Tell-tale oil 
drip spots on either side of your driveway?]
