I also like to turn the engine forward while I do this, although most 
sources go the other way, and it probably doesn't matter. When going 
forward I start either at #4 and go 4 3 2 1 or at #2 and go 2 1 4 3. 
That way I only have to switch sides once. Note that all of these are 
equivalent to 1 4 3 2 ( and to 3 2 1 4) since is a cyclic sequence.
