Sounds like a great idea to me.  It may already exist!  I think
Big Al's registry is similar to this. I think most of this kind
of info can be entered into the registry.  I remember putting
this info in about myself and my car.

Maybe we just need to advertise the registry a bit more.  It is
still there isn't Big Al?  I have not looked recently.  Maybe
Greg can put a link to it on the vwtype3.org site.
