My younger brother (he's 15, can't get his license for another month) picked up a 69 square a few months ago. I've just gotten a chance to look at it. It's got 43k miles on it. You know, the "old lady who only drives it to church on sundays" story. It came from Oregon, so it has some minor rust on the rear fenders. The origional paint still looks decent though. The real beauty is the interior. Absolutely flawless! It still smells new. (That could be my imagination) There isn't a single piece of rubber, vinyl, or plastic that isn't delightfully soft to the touch I don't think there is a single thing missing, broken or even dirty on the entire inside of the car! The engine runs great too, but looks like it may have seen a water-cooled mechanic once or twice, judging by the random discarded "worthless" pieces of cooling tin. Well, just thought I'd pass that on. Any tips I should give him for keeping the interior the way it is right now?
