Personally, I wouldn't consider it "destroying" a swing
axle Notch by putting a later Type III pan under it.
And since I plan on lowering it slightly, swing axles
would have that unpleasant camber effect.  I'd want to
keep the old drums/rotors, though, because I want to put
chromed 5-spoke EMPIs on it.  My reason for getting an
older notch anyway is the appearance.
