Spark color is more a matter of what material is in there in the
spark gap than anything else. If it will jump 1 cm then I think it is
fine.

Your coil sounds fine. Are your points and condensor also Bosch?
Maybe you're just getting too picky. A small amount of buildup is
normal, or are you getting a really big lump?
Is this causing you any problem or are you just noticing this and
wondering if it means something. Keep in mind that there is a pit
opposite that pip and that the only thing that you need be concerned
with is that the dwell stay be{î(» and 55.
