also do not forget the hydraulic setup on the Type 4 manual tranny cars.....I know of 2 manual tranny 2 door, fastbacks, in a scrapyard, quite the cars..... the clutch setup in these are pretty well identical to the 914 ( the slave cylinder sits at the top of the bell housing, in the middle, and has a sort of forked type, release lever.....)
