Do you think that was really a fair criticism, though? After all, you have to be driving these cars *way* beyond spec before you're likely to encounter camber tuck. I was in Michigan in those days, so it's not unlikely that I didn't hear the whole story, but what I remember was problems with the Corvs leaking exhaust into the heating systems (as those of us with rusty VWs sometimes experience). This can be especially creepy in snow country. => Somehow I manage to be a fan of both the Corvair (I learned to drive => in a 1960 Corvair 700) and of Ralph Nader. Me too!
