Congrates on the car! Since it's a daily driver I recommend you make sure the engine and transaxle are functioning properly and you consider them reliable. Once satisfied with the drivetrain begin on the areas that leak water because rust is a killer. Always make sure if you have someone else do the work they KNOW what they're doing and they do it right the first time. Don't always look for the least expensive route because a lot of the time it's shoddy work and you end up having to do it again or you just get bad results -- either way you end up paying for it twice. BUY A SHOP MANUAL! Jeez, you don't know how many people can't get it through their head to own a manual. It's a flippin' tool just like a 13mm wrench or a ohm meter. For beginners I highly recommend The Idiot's Guide by John Muir, but also recommend the Bentley and/or the Haynes. I have links to the three manuals at http://www.icbm.org/erkson/ttt/ghost-page.htm Toby "Hmmm!
