Yes, it's the same casting and takes the same pad. Some Volvos use 
this part on the rears also.

2mm may not seem like much, but the force on the pad is proportional 
to the area, and area is proportional to diameter squared. When 
you're all done the difference is 10%. If both front calipers were 
KG's, then the front braking would be down by 10% and the F/R balance 
would be very different. If only one caliper were a KG then the car 
would pull to one side.

You need them on a KG to get the right F/R braking balance. 
Manufacturers go to a bit of trouble to make this work right on a 
given car.

Sorry, no molded-in number. I only notice this when I have them 
apart.
