Had to fix my left turn signal socket this weekend - a fascinating procedure involving taking apart a gm socket to get the part to wedge into place on the vw socket, as opposed to t#»wÐ ator clipped mess the PO had in there. Still, I'd prefer to have the real thing in perfect working order. For those of you familiar with the socket, all I really need is the FULL bent piece of 1/4" wide copper that makes up 1/2 of the base the bulb contacts, which is also the post for the push connector to the wiring. Anyone have? Furthermore, my seals are not it the best shape. The one on the left is in really bad condition (Im talking about the full seal that goes behing the socket). These available, or does anuyone have a good way to reair/replace these? -Mike 72 Sqbk, 1600, dual Weber ICT 34s Brooklyn ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org
